Cremation for families in Moldova
Moldova has no crematorium of its own, so cremation takes place at the nearest ones: Oradea in Romania and Odesa in Ukraine. Ritual Prim takes on the whole journey: preparation and transport, the paperwork, the cremation itself and the return of the ashes to the family.
You do not have to learn the requirements of two countries or coordinate the transport. One call to 14000 is enough, the rest is ours.
How it works
- The call. We answer around the clock, tell you the first steps and take the arrangements on ourselves.
- Documents. We prepare everything needed for the transport and the cremation, international papers included.
- Transport. A specialist vehicle takes the deceased to the crematorium in Oradea or Odesa. You are welcome to follow it.
- The cremation. The procedure is carried out with respect for the deceased. The ashes are usually ready within a day.
- The ashes come back. We hand the urn to the family in Chisinau together with the official cremation documents.

We most often recommend the crematorium in Oradea, Romania, one of the most modern in the region. Its cremation documents meet European standards, which makes later formalities simpler, including taking the ashes to another country. Urns can be chosen there too, from plain to premium.
Odesa remains the more affordable option. We will help you compare the two calmly and choose.

How much does cremation cost?
The figure is made up of the cremation itself, the transport and the paperwork, and depends on which crematorium is chosen. Call 14000 and we will give you the full amount for your situation right away, with nothing added later.
How long does it take?
It depends on the documents and the journey, usually a few days. The ashes themselves are normally ready within a day of the cremation.
Can we travel with the deceased and be present?
Yes. You can follow the vehicle and be present at the crematorium. If you would rather leave it all to us, we will prepare a power of attorney and tell you which extra documents are needed.
What can be done with the ashes?
The urn can be buried in a grave or a columbarium, kept at home, or the ashes can be scattered. There are also memorial options, such as a diamond made from the ashes or a memorial tree.
Which documents do you need from the family?
The essentials: the death certificate, the documents of the deceased and the passport of the person arranging it. The rest, including the international transport permits, we prepare ourselves. We will give you the full list when you call.

Bună ziua tuturor!!! Este trist și dureros cînd pierzi pe cineva drag în viata....Dar atât timp cît sistemul acesta, îmbrățișează suferința și moartea,nu putem face nimic. Am apelat la serviciile RITUAL PRIM, pentru repatrierea soției din altă țară (Italia ). Vreau să menționez că este o companie foarte serioasa și care se ține de cuvânt. Toate detaliile le-am vorbit doar pe telefon, au fost disponibili 24/24, ceea ce ține de acte-la fel sau ocupat ei, inclusiv la Ambasada. Aici in Moldova la fel, au fost disponibili si dispuși mereu sa ma ajute atunci cind aveam întrebări... Aș dori să-i mulțumesc lui Vladimir pentru munca excelentă în organizarea înmormântării la Hîncești. Totul a fost realizat rapid și cu profesionalism. Vladimir a avut grijă de fiecare etapă, iar mâncarea în caserole pentru parastas a fost la un nivel foarte bun.
